You have three types of surveys available. Each type differs fundamentally in terms of purpose. You will need a classic survey for most of your research.
If you want to conduct a knowledge, diagnostic, or psychological test, select Knowledge Test/Quiz. However, if you want to reach your website users with the research, we highly recommend using widget.

  1. A survey is a classic opinion poll, usually on an issue. The collective results of the survey are presented in numbers and percentages. If you are not sure what to choose, choose the survey. It works in 95% of cases.

  2. The test is a survey with the possibility of assigning points to specific answers. The final result is calculated based on the obtained number of points. It is a technique mainly used in employee appraisals for HR departments, personality traits questionnaires or other types of evaluation. Additionally, in this survey type, you can define the areas and then define the appropriate interpretation of the results.

  3. A feedback widget is a minimally invasive form of a survey visible on your website. The survey may appear at any time defined. It will always contain only one question at a time not to take up too much space on the screen. If you want to develop the research topic started in the survey on the website, you can continue your research in the classic survey. The research will be displayed in a new browser tab.

How to add a survey?

To add your first survey:

  1. Select "New project" in the top right corner of the Projects tabs. This will display a form that allows you to create a survey or test.

  2. Select "Create empty".

  3. Select the type of project from the menu on the left. In this case, we select "Survey" and give the survey the name.

  4. Click on the button "Begin"

  5. The system will take us to the "Create" tab, where we can add the first question.

What is worth remembering?

  • It is essential to match the type of survey to its content (this facilitates its creation and subsequent analysis).

  • The survey title should be relatively short and contain the problem in as few words as possible.

  • The survey title should not contain the content of the invitation to complete the survey. You will add this in the further stages of creating the survey.
