Adding a Selected Answer to the Content of a Question or Answer

If you want a respondent's answer from a previous question to appear in the content of a question, you need to use the TAGS option, which can be found in the advanced text editor while creating a question.

After selecting the button, a dropdown list will appear, where you will find a macro, e.g., "Answer in question 1..."

Inserting Selected or Unselected Answers into the Options of the Next Question

In addition to the method described above, you can also dynamically insert all selected or unselected answers from a previous question. To do this, go to the question creation mode, e.g., a single-choice question.

Next, below the fields for entering answers, select the option Use answers selected by respondent in other question.

Then we specify whether we want to insert marked or unmarked answers.

and indicate the number of the question from which the answers are to be inserted.

After setting mentioned parameters, press Insert.

Important:

  • For dynamic answer insertion to work correctly, both questions must be placed on separate pages.

  • The Use answers selected by respondent in other question option works only for specific types of questions. It is not possible to insert answers from single-choice questions.
